Valencia is one of the most recognized and sought-after communities in the Santa Clarita Valley, known for its beautifully planned neighborhoods, tree-lined streets, parks, paseos, shopping, dining and wide variety of homes.

Having lived in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1981 and selling real estate since 1996, I have watched Valencia grow and evolve over the years. What makes Valencia special to me is how each neighborhood has its own distinct character. You can find charming established communities with mature trees, newer developments with modern amenities, townhomes and condominiums, luxury homes, gated neighborhoods and everything in between.

Some of Valencia’s well-known neighborhoods include Northpark, Northbridge, Valencia Summit, Bridgeport, Woodlands, Tesoro del Valle, Old Orchard, Valencia Hills and many others. Each community offers something a little different, whether that is access to community pools, parks, paseos, shopping, scenic views or neighborhood amenities.

One of Valencia’s most distinctive features is its extensive network of landscaped paseos and trails, which connect many neighborhoods and offer opportunities for walking, jogging, biking and enjoying the outdoors. The broader City of Santa Clarita maintains approximately 80 miles of trails and 20 miles of paseos throughout the city.

Valencia is also home to a variety of parks, recreational opportunities, shopping, dining and community facilities. The Valencia Community Center offers programs and activities for a wide range of ages, including fitness, camps, aquatics and other community programming.

My opinion: this is a very good main Valencia page because it gives enough information without overwhelming people. Then, over time, you can add separate neighborhood pages for Northpark, Northbridge, Valencia Summit, Bridgeport, Woodlands and others and link them back to this main Valencia page.
